Cold Test Results of a Standing Wave Muffin-tin Structure at X-band*

چکیده

Abstract A muffin-tin structure is chosen to study high gradient acceleration in the millimeter wavelength range. In order to understand the electromagnetic field characteristics, a standing wave structure operating at a frequency around 11.4 GHz was built. Cold test measurements were performed and results are presented. Comparisions with theoretical predictions based on computer simulation are shown.
